Carolyn's Vision

At just 13 years old, Carolyn Jäger spotted a gap in the market. The standard black medical bags available for glucometer storage lacked style and personality. After spending years watching this problem go unsolved, Carolyn decided to take action. In 2009, she began designing cases from her home, juggling creativity with raising her two sons. Within a year, Sugar Medical was born, and Carolyn launched her debut collection featuring five vibrant colour options that transformed how people carried their diabetes supplies.

What started as a passion project has grown into one of the most respected diabetic accessory brands—and it remains woman-owned to this day.
